FAQS

  • Cancellation/Refund/Reschedule:

Will allow 1 free reschedule WITHIN THE MONTH, then no refund and $30 reschedule fee.

    - No call. No show. No refund. You may reschedule for $30 fee.

    - Tardiness - instructor reserve right to reschedule or cancel appointment at student expense.

    - Cancellation fee $30 (Up to 1 hour before schedule training)

  • Are your courses accredited and approved within the industry?

Yes, all our courses are nationally recognized and accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Are student manuals provided?

Previously, I was able to provide manuals for use on site but unfortunately I am no longer able to do so. According to American Heart Association/ATLAS, every trainee must have their own manual before during and after training.

  • What is the minimum age to learn CPR?

The AHA does not mandate a minimum age requirement for learning CPR. The ability to perform CPR is based more on body strength than age. Studies have shown that children as young as nine years old can learn and retain CPR skills.

  • Which CPR class do you need?

Healthcare providers are required to take the American Heart Association BLS certification class. Professions that require AHA BLS certification include nurses, nursing students, doctors, medical assistants, hospital technicians, dental assistants, EMT, physical and occupational therapists, firefighters, paramedics, dentists, respiratory therapists, and more. But you don't have to be a medical professional to get BLS certification.

  • Are your courses OSHA compliant?

Our Heartsaver courses are for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory or other requirements. While these courses are designed to meet OSHA requirements, OSHA does not review or approve any courses for compliance.

  • How soon will I get my certification card and for how long it would be valid?

You will get your e-card certification the same day via email and it would be valid for two years.

  • I am not a healthcare professional and I need a CPR and AED course for work purposes. Which course should I take?

Heartsaver CPR AED is probably best for you.

  • Can I get certified online?

YES. However, we do not offer virtual courses at the moment. You may purchase the course online through AHA directly (link below) and register with us for the “Hands-on Skills check” only —
